Okemos Homecoming Parade
This Friday, September 20 is the Homecoming Parade for the Okemos Public Schools. We are excited to have the opportunity to walk in the Homecoming Parade for the third consecutive year and continue to publicize lacrosse in Okemos. We would love for your player to participate with us!
What: The Okemos Homecoming Parade
Who: All members of the Okemos Lacrosse Club - Boys and Girls!
When: Friday, September 20
Where: Meet at Bennett Woods at 4:45 pm to walk over to 242 Church to line up. We will find a spot in line.
More Details: Laxers should bring their stick, wear their jersey or Okemos lacrosse gear, and bring a bag (or two) of candy to pass out to attendees.
Where You Come In: We are hoping that there will be a couple of families members who are willing to walk with us in the parade to help keep our group together and wrangle in some of the younger players. We will pull a wagon where everyone can dump their candy. At the end of the parade, we will keep everyone together in the median between the in and out lanes of the High School student parking lot until families can pick up their players. If you are interested in helping, feel free to email at okemosgirlsyouthlax@gmail.com or text (517) 214-0188.
